Experience the Many Faces of the Bothnian Sea on a Relaxed Kayaking Excursion in Kuivalahti, Eurajoki.
A sheltered coastal bay with warm, calm waters provides the perfect setting for a serene seascape adventure – ideal even for beginners.
We begin our paddling adventure from Sandria’s shore in Kuivalahti, Eurajoki. During this 2.5-hour kayaking trip, we focus on observing the rich marine wildlife, especially birdlife, and enjoying the well-being benefits of the coastal environment.
As we paddle, you'll encounter the diverse nature of the Bothnian Sea: a sheltered bay with lake-like calmness, a natural, channel-like strait leading to the open sea, and the vast expanse of the horizon – with a few small surprises along the way.
Thanks to the quiet, boat-free conditions, this paddling destination is home to an exceptionally rich birdlife. We always respect their habitat and avoid disturbing the birds by adjusting our route based on their nesting and behaviour. While doing so, we may spot goldeneyes, great crested grebes, terns, goosanders, swans, grey herons… and perhaps even catch a glimpse of a majestic white-tailed sea eagle!
Midway through the trip, we’ll take a short break to rest and enjoy a secret specialty from the shores of the Bothnian Sea.

Important information:
No previous kayaking experience is required, but participants must be able to swim.
All kayaking equipment will be provided by the organiser. You only need to bring weather-appropriate clothing, a change of clothes, a water bottle, and swimwear and a towel if you wish to take a dip after the trip.
