The customer agrees to comply with these terms when purchasing or booking products and services through Sandria's Wild Nature's online and cash services. Sandria's Wild Nature's online store services include both the Johku online store (https://sandria.johku.com) and orders and bookings made directly through Sandria’s website (https://sandria.fi).
These terms are valid until further notice. The right to make changes is reserved.
General Terms
The consumer prices displayed in the online service include VAT.
We sell products and services to adult private individuals and business customers. The prices of services sold to businesses are VAT-exempt, and VAT is added to the invoice price of the service.
We reserve the right to change prices. Prices and availability may vary depending on the time. The current prices are displayed on each product/service’s own booking page.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must review the current delivery terms before placing an order.
We reserve the right to cancel a sale or make price changes if the ordered product/service or its price does not correspond to the actual market price due to a technical error in the online store or human error.
Booking Terms
These terms apply to rented (equipment rental) and booked (events, trips, courses) products and services. Collectively, these are referred to as "bookings."
Booking
The customer is responsible for reviewing the description, instructions, and terms of the product or service they are booking. The specific booking and delivery terms for rented paddling and camping equipment are available at https://sandria.fi/valinevuokraus/vuokraus-ja-toimitusehdot.
A booking made by the customer is binding once a booking or payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring they provide a valid and correctly written email address when booking.
The customer pays for the booking using their chosen payment method and adheres to the terms of that payment method. Additional information on available payment methods is provided later in this document.
Sandria's Wild Nature is not responsible for failed bookings. If the customer encounters an error message during booking, they must immediately contact the merchant to resolve the situation.
Sandria's Wild Nature does not guarantee that the reserved equipment, product, or service will still be available at the original time in case of a booking failure, as the number of bookable equipment and participant spots is limited. If this happens, an alternative time, product, or service will be offered to the customer. If no alternative is available, the booking amount will be refunded either as a gift card or cash.
Changes or Cancellations
The cancellation date is the date when Sandria's Wild Nature has received written notice of the cancellation. Cancellations must be sent via email to saana (at) sandria.fi.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the product-specific cancellation terms when applicaple (mentioned in the product description) and that the cancellation is sent in time.
If a customer cancels their booking, refunds are made according to the following terms:
If at least 14 days remain before the start of the booking, an alternative time, product, or service will be sought for the customer. If no alternative is found, the booking amount will be refunded as a gift card or cash. A handling fee applies to cancellations and refunds.
If the cancellation is made between 7 and 14 days before the start of the booking, 50% of the booking price is charged, except for equipment rentals, which must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the start. If no alternative time is found for the equipment rental, the booking amount is refunded as a gift card or cash. A handling fee applies.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the start of the booking (for trips, courses, events) or less than 48 hours before an equipment rental, 100% of the booking price is charged. Customers who do not show up without prior notice (no-show) are not entitled to any refund. If a no-show customer has agreed to pay by cash or card on-site, a payment link will be sent to them, and they are required to pay 100% of the booking amount.
A booking can be rescheduled or replaced once. If a rescheduled or replaced booking is cancelled, the full booking price is charged regardless of the cancellation date.
Merchant’s Right to Cancel a Booking
Events with a minimum participant requirement that is not met by the deadline or events with a weather condition requirement (e.g., snow-dependent snowshoeing trips) will be cancelled if conditions do not allow for their execution. In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund.
In the event of force majeure (e.g., the organiser’s illness or injury), Sandria's Wild Nature may terminate the agreement. The customer will be informed immediately. In this case, the customer is entitled to a full refund if no alternative arrangement is agreed upon.
Any costs incurred by the customer due to the cancellation of an event are not reimbursed.
Compensation for Damages & Insurance
The service provider has valid liability insurance. The liability insurance covers damages resulting from possible errors in Sandria's Wild Nature’s operations, negligence in safety, or defective equipment.
Customers must have their own valid travel, leisure, or accident insurance. Sandria's Wild Nature is not responsible for damages covered by the customer’s insurance. Customers must inform the service provider of any medical conditions, injuries, or mobility limitations that may affect their ability to participate.
If illness prevents participation, the customer must inform the provider without delay. The cancellation policy described above applies. Compensation for last-minute cancellations due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances must be sought from the customer’s own insurance.
The customer is responsible for any damage they cause to Sandria's Wild Nature. The person making the booking is responsible for all participants and any damages they cause during the booking period.
Sandria's Wild Nature does not compensate for inconveniences or costs caused by natural conditions such as insects, animals, seasonal road conditions, or unexpected weather changes.
Complaints
Complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.
If the matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily or involves a compensation claim, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one (1) month of the end of the booking.
Sandria's Wild Nature will process complaints as quickly as possible, but no later than within one (1) month.
If the customer and Sandria's Wild Nature cannot reach an agreement, the customer may submit the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.
Delivery Terms
Formation of Agreement
A binding agreement for the sale is formed when the order is confirmed (booking confirmation/payment confirmation).
The booking or payment confirmation is sent to the customer via email.
By making a booking, you accept the terms presented in this document as well as any equipment-specific terms (for rentals), product/service prices, and potential delivery costs.
Payment Terms
Sandria's Wild Nature only uses reliable and secure payment service providers. For card payments, the options are Stripe, Visma Pay, and iZettle, which enable secure card payments on-site or via a link sent by email or text message. Mobile and online banking payments are processed through Visma Pay. The customer agrees to comply with the terms of the selected payment method.
Sports and culture benefits can be used for services that qualify as payment methods under tax authority guidelines. In the Johku online store, available payment options include Smartum, ePassi, and Edenred sports benefits. As employment benefits are personal, they can only be used to purchase one service at a time. If you wish to pay with another employment benefit, please contact the merchant.
Sandria's Wild Nature does not store bank or credit card details at any stage.
Due to changes in consumer protection law, payments by invoice or bank transfer are not available for consumer customers in the online store. However, invoice payments are available for businesses and organisations.
Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.
For invoices paid after the due date, late fees will always be added according to the payment terms stated on the invoice. If the invoice is paid after the due date with the original invoice and late fees have already been incurred, the fees will be invoiced separately.
If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of ordering, Sandria's Wild Nature cannot process the order.
