Experience "The Amazon of Eurajoki" on this easy kayaking excursion through the sheltered river delta. This beginner-friendly kayaking adventure takes us under the towering alder trees to the stunning suspension bridge hanging over Tiironkoski rapids.
During this 5-kilometre easy and peaceful kayaking trip, we’ll enjoy the natural beauty of the Eurajoki River with all our senses.
From the floral scents drifting from blooming riverbanks to the gentle murmurs of the Tiironkoski rapids and the exotic charm of towering alder trees, this kayaking adventure is a true feast for nature lovers. Along the way, we’ll also keep an eye out for birds in the river delta, fish swimming in the clear waters, and Highland cattle grazing on the riverside meadows.
Besides the friendly cows, we’ve even been greeted by curious deer on past trips.
For adventurous paddlers, if the conditions allow, there’s also an opportunity to spice up the otherwise easy trip by trying some light white-water kayaking in the Tiironkoski rapids.
The trip starts at Verkkokari Beach, a shallow, sheltered, and sandy spot, conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Eurajoki’s town centre.

Good to know:
All kayaking equipment will be provided by the organiser. You only need to bring weather-appropriate clothing, a change of clothes, and a water bottle.
Mosquitoes rarely bother us on the water, but you’re welcome to pack some mosquito spray or balm just in case. Please note that Thermacell and similar devices don't belong in nature and are not permitted on our excursions.
